Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is a voice actress singer and director. She's also an actress. An attractive, clever and talented actress, she is an example to Asian actors who are aspiring to be big stars in Hollywood. After a series of initial appearances in some popular series she achieved fame by joining the cast of the legal comedy show Ally McBeal where she played the sly Ling Woo. Her new-found fame was translated into roles that were filmed on the large screen in Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels and several other films. For Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an impressive performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii. In addition, she played lead roles in box office failures such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In animated movies such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell as well as others, she voiced characters with prominent voices. Small screen roles such as Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia failed to produce positive results. Southland is a highly praised crime drama that established Liu as an actress of the future. Liu carefully selects roles to avoid being a stereotype in an industry that is highly competitive. While she embraces her roots however, this has not hindered her in her work in the field of art.
