Kelly Clarkson was an American singer/songwriter that became America's Sweetheart after winning American Idol during the initial season of the series. She was not only the most popular after her victory, but she also got a record deal with RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records" for several albums. Since her win she's released an array records from studio works. From these, 3 reached the top of the US Billboard 200 Chart while other albums were just a few centimeters away. She's one of the most successful artists to have sprung from The American Idol series. She experimented as she gained popularity with various themes and different musical styles. She was often the one to write her own songs. With her distinct voice and unique ability, she was awarded high praise and numerous prizes. Most notably she has won the Grammy Award three times. Alongside her career in music, she has also appeared in movies and television shows. She is also the author of the novel for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charities.
