Charissa Thompson

Thompson quit FOX Sports, and began hosting the show for Versus Sports and Yahoo Sports. She anchored Versus' NHL studio coverage and also recorded web-based video on the popular Yahoo platform. She also managed Yahoo Sports' presence at major sporting events like those of the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV and the BCS National Championship. Her success on these two stages led her to get a job with ESPN as one of its hosts for the new evening program "Numbers Never Lie" beginning in August of 2011. In July 2012, she transitioned to the wildly popular "SportsNation," enjoying a great run which lasted till she left ESPN to go back to Los Angeles for the launch of FS1 in May of 2013. Thompson is a huge sporting fan but has demonstrated the versatility necessary to be able to work in entertainment. After a series of temporary opportunities and promotions, she was appointed co-host on a regular basis for the late-night edition of Hollywood newspaper "Extra," in June 2014. As such she taped her episodes at Universal Studios while also staffing the awards show and other celeb occasions on a regular basis. Charissa Charissa Charissa
